Building Bridges With Ecuador
Purpose
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES OF THE TRIP:
The purpose of this trip is to provide individuals, couples, and families from all walks of life, a short-term volunteer program in a Third World country that encourages people to immerse themselves in a unique way of giving back.
The objectives of the trip are:
(1 ) To provide help and service to others
(2) To “build bridges” with people of other countries and promote cultural awareness – that is, to recognize & appreciate the beauty & challenges of a culture, but not change it.
(3) To create relationships with both those in other countries and with team members who are working for the same cause in providing service to others.
